How T2X Works

Learn more about integrating Trade Me and Xero using T2X.

When you sign up you'll be asked to connect your Trade Me and Xero accounts.

Each Xero organisation can only be connected to a single T2X account – if you use multiple Trade Me accounts get in touch.

After you've authorised your Trade Me and Xero accounts you'll need to choose account codes, and whether you want to automatically create invoices (or not).

The default setting is to not create invoices automatically. This lets you explore T2X at your own pace.

After a couple of minutes your Trade Me sales should finish importing, you'll see this activity on your dashboard. We check for new sales every hour, on the hour.

The History page shows details of each Trade Me sale and corresponding Xero invoice, along with screenshots of each of your listings when they closed.

Click the magnifying glass icon in the Status column to view detailed information for each sale and invoice. Pick one of your newly-imported Trade Me sales and click through to the details now.

Click the Create Invoice button – remember, if you've enabled automatic invoice creation T2X will do this for each sale automatically.

Click the Open in Xero button to go directly to the invoice in your Xero organisation.

We take a snapshot of each Trade Me auction after it closes for your records. Use the "Open PDF in new window" link to view the snapshot. This saves you printing and filing copies of your Trade Me sales.

That's a quick tour of how T2X works. Now you've tried it out, go back to your Settings page and enable automatic invoice creation!
